1) Farah Amira - who is actually a Councillor.. YET she turned up to help us. THANKS!
2) Meredith Ong - who is the one who came up with the steps
3) Shariffah Radiah - who helped to create the dance moves too.
4) Christine
5) Michelle
6) Jodie Wong
7) Melissa Ho
8) Rin
9) Cherie Tan
10) Filzah

Thanks to all who turned up! I really appreciate it!

To all who didnt with NO valid reason.... well, I have nothing to say.. I'm just disappointed that out of all so many CCA leaders we have... 9 ppl showed up... Those who didn't tell us in advance, well, I expect you guys to have a good reason. To those who told us in advance, I appreciate it. To those who said that they didnt know about the practice... Well, that means that you didnt check the blog when we told you to.

As leaders, you guys should really reflect on who you are. You guys are representatives of the school, you are the ones who will have to stand up and lead at times. What are you guys trying to tell us from this ACES day practice? The main quality you must have in being a CCA Leader is Responsibility. Apparently, you guys don't show enough of it. You would have to be committed in your CCA, as well as being a leader. You are not wearing the uniform for show. To wear it, I'm sure many of us have worked really hard for it. So continue showing that you are worthy of it.

As leaders you all should also be more resourceful. You cannot expect people to spoonfeed you and pass the message to you face-to-face. We have already told you about the blog, it becomes your responsibility to check it. I'm very sure that all of you have internet access, if not, please notify us so we can sms you personally. The suggestion I have is create a relay system. Is everyone okay with that? That means the leaders in charge of telling your group members have to be responsible enough to make sure that they actually receive the sms. Ok. I shall try to create a relay system as soon as possible. IF this still doesnt work... I don't know how else we can help you.

Well, next time we are going to practice is when school reopens. Please, I expect everyone to give your fullest support and ACTUALLY TURN UP FOR THE PRACTICES. We are dancing to BOOM BOOM POW.

P/s: I hope that you guys will take the initiative to find out the steps if you weren't here. Please at least do this to help us out. We wouldn't want to meet with 3/4 of the people not knowing the steps. Thanks.

Aces Day Dance
Thursday, June 11, 2009 @ 5:35 AM

This applies TO ALL

I'm sure all of you know about the poland and fiji dance by now. So, the leaders in charge are Meredith Ong (3/7) Vice head of Modern dance and Farah Amira (3/7) in Councillor Board, Indian Dancer. I hope the both of you can get the dance done by 22nd of June. Mr Poh wants the dance done by July but we still have to rehearse, so please help them out or give them any ideas for the dance. So, we are gonna have a meeting for them to teach us the dance soon.

Date: 22nd June, Monday
Venue: School, Meet at Sunken foyer first
Time: 8.30 to 12

Please, we need you guys to come because we need to learn the steps. We can make this a fun thing if you guys cooperate with the leaders and just do the steps that they ask us to. TY.

First Day of School 29/June/09
@ 3:44 AM

Hello!

This post only applies to the leaders of the various SPORTS CCAS!!

Term 3 Week 1 (29/6 to 3/7) has a theme that ties with YOG. Therefore, on the first day of school (29/6) we will be having a "fashion parade" on sports attire. Exciting, eh?

Captains:

If you do not understand please contact me.

They are allowed to come to school in the sports attire but they MUST wear their skirts.
I strongly discourage last minute changes to the type of sports attire your members are displaying.

Thanks,
Michelle :)

Leader's camp.
Saturday, June 6, 2009 @ 7:45 PM

HEY YO.

I bet everyone enjoyed the Leader's camp.
Hope that you guys also bonded with your families.

Thanks to all the seniors and teachers and the other behind the scenes people.
Thanks for making the camp such a success.

I'm sure you guys have learnt something about YOUR leadership.
If not, you must have learnt some from the people around you.
So put it to good use starting from today.

Now that we've had our fair share of fun...
We'll have to work hard for the upcoming events.

1. Youth Day
2. ACES
3. Sports Day

It's not gonna be easy but we'll do it together.
Enjoy your holidays, if you actually have it.
